To outline student progress expectations in coursework awards, and outline intervention strategies that MST will put in place where students are deemed to not be maintaining satisfactory course progress

To outline the minimum levels of English Language Proficiency required in order to enter an AUT course taken in English, and how English Language Proficiency is tested. 

To ensure consistency in the provision of information about support services to students of the Australian University of Theology (AUT).

To recognise the value of prior learning and experience for coursework awards by providing a system for awarding credit.

To state the requirements to be met by Affiliated Colleges of the Australian University of Theology (AUT) in representing the University and its courses to students and in providing information to students about studying in AUT courses.

The purpose of this Policy is to guide the College) in developing a child protective culture and in establishing and maintaining child-safe environments for the children who are part of the College education and faith community.

The purpose of the Student Support Fund (the Fund) is to provide timely, compassionate, and practical financial assistance to enrolled students who are experiencing financial hardship or unforeseen circumstances that may adversely affect their capacity to continue their studies. The Fund exists to support students so that financial distress does not become a barrier to formation for ministry, mission, and/or Christian higher education.

The Fund also supports the College’s obligations to student wellbeing, retention, and success, consistent with TEQSA’s Higher Education Standards Framework (HESF), particularly in relation to student support and welfare.

To outline a student’s rights to apply for a refund of tuition fees of a unit enrolment which has not been successfully completed.
